Costs
Depending on the complexity of the project and different material input we apply a staggered price chart for the CRISPR/Cas9-mediated generation of gene-edited mice. As there are plenty of specific gene-editing strategies available we cannot provide a complete summary of costs calculations on the website. Therefore, this is just a brief overview for the most requested services. Please feel free to contact us for detailed information and current cost estimations for your project.
Given calculations are only valid for internal users, as they cover only material costs for the generation of gene-edited mice. This is possible because the core facility receives subsidies from the University of Bonn. The same applies to prices for rederivation and cryopreservation of mice. However, we also welcome external users in our core facility. A separate price chart will be made available upon request.
