Please note that until May 18 you can now apply for the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship 2026/27!

The scholarship is open to everyone studying for a degree at the University of Bonn (bachelor’s, master’s, state examination, Church degree, Magister Theologiae) as well as secondary school graduates and prospective students. 

Each scholarship recipient is given €300 a month (€3,600 per year). The scholarship is awarded irrespective of income and BAföG. As well as good achievements at school or university, the selection process also takes account of social engagement and social criteria.

Fields of Study: Orientation - Offers - Perspectives

Fields of study offer a practical first insight into the variety of our degree programs. They inform readers about the crux of what particular degree programs are concerned with, touching on aspects of research, student life and potential careers.
Degree programs of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences are part of two fields of study: "Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Environmental Science" and "Computer Science, Engineering".

The University of Bonn welcomes you on October 8! 

The official welcome in the auditorium starts at 12.00 a.m., from 1.00 p.m. you can get to know the university and all its offers at the information market in the Arkadenhof and in the evening you can meet your fellow students at the Ersti-Party from 6.00 p.m. Here is a brief overview of the programme: 

11:15 a.m.: Admission to the official welcome, Aula
12:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Official welcome, auditorium
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Information market, Arkadenhof
From 3:00 p.m.: Hands-on activities, Arkadenhof & main building
From 6:00 p.m.: Party in the auditorium & the Arkadenhof
